Antalya rafting on the Köprüçay River is the most popular adventure activity on this coast. The river cuts a 14km gorge through the Taurus Mountains with 6 Grade II–III white water rapids — genuinely exciting, no prior experience needed. Beyond rafting: Antalya jeep safari to Tazi Canyon, quad bike tracks above the coast, zipline above the gorge, and full-day combo tours that cover three activities in one.
Suitable for ages 8 and up. Free hotel pickup from Lara, Belek, Kemer, Side, and Antalya center. Safety gear provided. No deposit required.
Antalya rafting takes place on the Köprüçay River in Köprülü Canyon — a 14km gorge through limestone about 80km northeast of Antalya. The section used for tours has 6 Grade II–III white water rapids: enough to be genuinely exciting without being technical or dangerous for beginners. Minimum age is 8. Non-swimmers join regularly with life jackets and a full safety briefing before departure.
Rafting starts from €20 per person. The Köprülü Canyon Combo adds buggy driving on the canyon plateau and a zipline crossing above the gorge — three activities in one day, with riverside lunch included. Pickup is early (07:00–07:30); return around 18:00.
Best season: April and May when snowmelt keeps water levels high. The tour runs April through October.
The Jeep Safari to Tazi Canyon takes a different route: a 4x4 convoy west through the Taurus foothills, stopping at traditional villages and reaching the Tazi Canyon viewpoint — a plateau edge with a dramatic drop and views across the Antalya plain to the sea. You're a passenger in a guided convoy, not driving. No physical requirements beyond the ability to get in and out of a jeep.
Lunch with mountain views is included. The jeep safari suits guests who want the canyon and mountain landscape without the water activity — and families with children too young for rafting (no minimum age on the jeep tour).
The Antalya quad bike safari runs on off-road tracks in the hills above the coast — open terrain with sea views, dusty tracks, and enough variety to make it worthwhile if you've done ATV tours elsewhere. Tours run morning or afternoon sessions. Minimum age to drive is 16; passengers can be younger.
Not every nature activity involves getting wet or off-road. The Olympos Cable Car tour ascends to 2,365m on Tahtali Mountain above Kemer, with panoramic views across the Mediterranean coast and Taurus mountains. The cable car covers 4.35km in under 10 minutes. At the summit there are walking paths, viewpoints, and clear views down to the coast. A good option if you want dramatic landscape without the physical demands of trekking — and works well combined with a morning in Kemer.
